XEMG Liyuan Power Division is the former Power Plant of Xiangtan Motor Factory which founded in 1950, act as the energy specialized plant for supply of power for Xiangtan Motor Factory and service for the power facilities. The power types supplied include electric, water, compressed air, oxygen, nitrogen and steam. The service, installment and debugging of electric power facilities, pipelines, pressure vessels, phones and meters are also included.
     Along the reform of XEMG, in Dec. of 1999, XEMG Liyuan Power Co., Ltd was founded and became a independent subsidiary. It was also the first power specialized subsidiary in Hunan province at that time. The Power Co., Ltd. has many high precise, large-scale and special production facilities. The fixed assets totals 24 million yuan(net 20 million); annual power output 55000 MW.h; water capacity 4 million tons; oxygen 1.6 million m3; compressed air 35 million m3; steam 25 thousand tons.
     At the beginning of 2004, XEMG decided to reform the Power Co., Ltd. to Power Division. After that, the Power Division remains as a independent accounting unit. The secondary departments include head office, accounting dept., production management, technical dept., living water and electric, engineering, electric power, water plant, oxygen station, heat power station and air compressor station.
      After the 110kV station has been installed, the Division sent the relevant persons to other companied for investigation and add many test devices. The division put the quality of works and has sent 3 engineers to the train for budgeting and installment engineers hosted by Hunan Construction Bureau. There are 5 engineers have gotten the Project Manager certificate. The finance, budget and clearing personnel are all with faculty and the Division is able to install and test 110kv facilities.
     Up to March of 2005, there are 338 employees in the Power Division, of which there are 51 management persons and technicians, and 287 workers. Among the management persons, there are 2 ones having senior titles and 16 ones medium level titles. For worker, there are 1 senior technician, 7 technicians and 5 junior technicians. In the whole Division, there are 132 works with high-level technical knowledge.
     The management policy of the Power Division is that consolidating the service concept, providing satisfactory power, perfecting management, improving enforcement motive, adding renovation budget, expanding other area, motivating the manpower and speeding the development.

1. Water, electric power, steam, oxygen(gaseous or liquid), nitrogen (gaseous or liquid), compressed air and Golden Flame gas
2. Calibration of power meters; test and repair of seamless steel pipes.
3. Engineering, installment, manufacture and service of power facilities.
4. Medical Oxygen
