A) General
     Synchronous machine is the one of the 17 series products of XEMG. The synchronous machines include synchronous motors, synchronous generators, synchronous medium frequency generators, synchronous generators for traction and variable frequency synchronous motor group. They are used in domestic and abroad and well accepted by the users. In design, XEMG adopted computers for optimum analyses and used new materials, hi-tech techniques to meet the customers’ requirements. Our products feature reliable performance, low temperature rise, low loss, low vibration, large start torque, simple structure and easy to maintenance. We also provide the integrated HV integrative starter, KGLF11, KGLF12 and BLW thyristor excitation devices, as well as provide the installment and service of them.
     The synchronous motors are used for compressors, crackers, ball mills, steel bar mills, blowers, pumps and other facilities. The synchronous generators are used for high precision inverter and test power source, as well as used with diesel generators as the independent source and standby source.
B) Structure Description
     There are different structures of the synchronous machines manufactured by XEMG. Besides the common type of dual bearing base, there are full-suspended, shaftless and no-bearing-base structures, and semi-suspended, single bearing base, rotor movable structures, and safety structures like brush cover, positive pressure structures, and round, box structures, and dual trust direction bearing type(bi-direction rotary). There are also self air-cooling, horizontal mounted, vertical mounted, thyristor excitation with brush structures and brushless structure. The voltage levels are divided to 380V, 3kV, 6kV and 10kV. The protection class will be IP00~IP54.
    The base, end caps and bottom plates of synchronous machines are all made of steel plates. Thermo sensors are installed in stators and rotors for providing overheat protection. The rotor is salient pole type and fans are mounted on both ends of field boots. Cooling air enters from both end caps and is blew into the rotor and goes through the ventilation grooves of the stator. Then sent out from the outlet on the base. The cooling efficiency is high. For the machine of XEMG, there are also other structure types, such as pipe ventilation, semi-pipe ventilation, heat exchanger, air blew water cooling and air-air cooling. For bearings, there are end cap type sliding bearings, base type sliding bearings, bearings with press oil lubrication, end cap type ball bearings and grease lubrication type.
